It’s been a bumpy ride these past three years as we navigated the pandemic, and while things are far from normal, I’m sure you’ll agree that this summer is a welcome development in the course of things. When we struggle, the subsequent victories—large and small—are all the more sweet. So I hope you’ll find delight.
This is my 14th season at Williamstown over the course of 26 years—this place is so important to me, and to the thousands who have made WTF their artistic home over all of this time. Thank you for being here to celebrate with us, to support the work, and to be part of the Festival’s continuing evolution.
Thank you to our incredible staff and company, to our astute Board of Trustees, to Williams College, who has welcomed us here for 68 years with a spirit of generous hospitality, and—again—to you for joining us here. We couldn’t have made it back without you.
