Anna Ouyang Moench
Playwright
Anna Ouyang Moench is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Her plays have been produced across the country and include Mothers, Birds of North America, and Sin Eaters. Anna has been supported by fellowships and residencies from The Playwrights Realm, New York Foundation of the Arts, the Jerome Foundation, the Van Lier Foundation, Yaddo, the Tofte Lake Center, the Sewanee Writers Conference, and the Last Frontier Theatre Conference, among others. Her awards include the Paul Stephen Lim Playwriting Award from the Kennedy Center, Boulder Ensemble Theater Company’s Generations Award, and East West Players’ 2042: See Change Award. She is an alum of UCSD’s Playwriting M.F.A. program, the Emerging Writers Group at the Public Theater, Youngblood at Ensemble Studio Theatre, the Jam at New Georges, and writers groups at East West Players and the Echo Theater Company. Anna is currently a Supervising Producer for Severance (Apple TV+) and a Co-Executive Producer for The White Darkness (Apple TV+). Her plays can be seen this season at Public Theater, Theater Mu, Geffen Playhouse, Shotgun Players, and others.

Maggie Burrows
Director
Maggie Burrows is a theater and film director living in New York City. She has worked with Atlantic Theater Company, Playwrights Horizons, New York Theatre Workshop, WP Theater, Roundabout Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Club, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and the Geffen. She received her B.A. from Yale University, where she was a nominee for the Sudler Prize for Excellence in the Arts. She is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, the inaugural 2018-2019 BOLD Resident Director at Northern Stage, and the recipient of the 2018 Boris Sagal Directing Fellowship at Williamstown Theatre Festival. In 2020, in collaboration with the Roald Dahl Story Company, Maggie co-conceived and produced James and the Giant Peach with Taika and Friends to benefit Partners in Health. Ji-young Yoo
Kyung-Hwa (7/5 -7/15)
Ji-young Yoo co-stars in the upcoming Amazon limited series Expats opposite Nicole Kidman for director Lulu Wang. She can be currently seen in Josephine Decker’s feature The Sky Is Everywhere for A24 / Apple TV+. Ji-young is also an accomplished dancer and musician who appeared in the Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance campaign. She originated “Samantha” in the East West Players world premiere of Man of God and is excited to return to the show as “Kyung-hwa” at Williamstown Theatre Festival. She attended USC and lives in Los Angeles.

Shirley Chen

Shirley Chen is set to star in 20th Century's new feature Unt. Sister Comedy Project with Sandra Oh and Awkwafina. She made her Sundance debut as a lead in the feature Beast Beast, (dir: Danny Madden, EP: Alec Baldwin). Select credits: The Resident (FOX), Man of God (Geffen Playhouse, 2020), Speechless (ABC), Gamer's Guide (Disney XD), and Parenthood (NBC). Shirley attends Harvard University, where she received the Jonathan Levy Award recognizing the most promising actor at the college, and was one of the first six women cast in the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. She is an alumnus of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Shirley is represented by KMR and Echo Lake Entertainment.

Emma Galbraith

Emma Galbraith is elated to make her debut at Williamstown Theatre Festival in Man of God. Originally from Austin, Texas, she starred in the SXSW award-winning independent film Inbetween Girl (2021) before moving to Los Angeles, where she attends Occidental College. She was recently seen in good friday (New Manifest Theatre Company/VORTEX Repertory Theater). When not on the stage or the screen, she works as a community organizer for local and statewide climate justice initiatives in Texas and California. She is represented by Authentic Talent + Literary Management. Emma is eternally grateful to her family, friends, faculty, and coach Jolie Jenkins for their tireless support, love, and guidance.

Kristen Lee*
Samantha (7/17–7/22), u/s
Kristen is an actor and writer based in Los Angeles. She grew up in Dallas, TX, where she received her BFA degree in Acting at Southern Methodist University. Kristen is currently playing superhero Sonia Satio on Stargirl (CW). In 2019, she produced and starred in her original full-length play Prodigy at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, where it was offered an extended run. Her inspiration came from being a proud Korean-American, but feeling like neither most of the time. Erin Rae Li is an Asian American actor based in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from UC San Diego with degrees in Theatre and Communications in 2019. Erin has performed in multiple regional productions as well as participated in new work development at Cygnet Theater, San Diego Repertory Theatre, and Moonlight Stage Productions. Most recently, her feature film Balloon Animal premiered internationally at Manchester International Film Festival and will be premiering in the US at Cinequest later this summer. Denitsa is a Bulgarian born costume designer whose design work has been seen nationwide at regional venues including Pasadena Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum, Old Globe Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, South Coast Rep, Geffen Playhouse, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Kennedy Center, Cleveland Play House, Williamstown Theatre Festival and others. Denitsa's work for opera includes productions at Los Angeles Opera, San Diego Opera and Santa Fe Opera. Costume design credits for other media include films and music videos. Thomas Isao Morinaka

Thomas Isao Morinaka is an actor, writer, stunt performer, director, and an award-winning stage combat/fight choreographer. He earned a B.A. with Honors in Theater from the University of Hawai’i with an emphasis in stage combat, Japanese theater, Japanese theater movement, Japanese history, and Japanese classical literature. He has performed as an actor and stunt person in television shows, films, and regionally on stages throughout the West Coast. He has performed as a voice-over artist for several projects, such as the movie Kubo and the Two Strings and other various animated shows and video games. His awards include an LADCC Award for Distinguished Achievement in Fight Choreography (2018) and a nomination for an Ovation Award for Fight Direction (2019). Lucy Houlihan is a stage manager, assistant stage manager, director, and producer in Los Angeles. Most recently, she’s assistant stage managed every show in the Geffen Playhouse’s Audrey Skirball Kennis Theater this season, including The Enigmatist, Trayf, and Man of God. She also produces for MeetCute LA, an ongoing play showcase focused on building community with Los Angeles-based playwrights, directors, and actors. She is so excited to be in Williamstown for her first summer, and is honored to get to work on this incredibly important and relevant play.
